Connect to College
The Foundation supports school network organizations, including New Visions for Public Schools, The Urban Assembly, Internationals Network, NYC Outward Bound Schools, and the Office of K-16 Initiatives at the City University of New York, to ensure students are prepared to enter and succeed in college. Together they support over 120 public schools – approximately 25% of all public high schools in New York City – engaging more than 62,000 students in grades 6-12.
These network organizations provide tools and services to schools, including data systems, curriculum, intensive coaching for school staff, mentors for students, and technology systems that allow schools to communicate with students and families.
The Foundation acknowledges and appreciates the extensive community of educators across schools and non-profit organizations dedicated to this work. To be as effective as possible with our limited resources, however, we have decided to strategically concentrate on collaboration with select partner organizations and will not be expanding this portfolio of support at this time.
